Middle age, Over the Hill, On Your Way Out, Golden Years…whatever you want to call it.  What ever stage you’re at, it’s not that bad, as a matter of fact, there’s a lot of cool things about getting older no one tells you about.

Hot and Flash

My new friends.  I don’t really like them, they’re quite annoying and they are not welcome but they don’t care, they show up anyway without any type of notice.  They’re so inconsiderate.

Sunday Sunrise

I’m waiting.  Patiently waiting for the sunrise.  It’s 4:25 am, I’ll be waiting for a bit.  Why do I get up this flippin’ early?!? Continue reading “Sunday Sunrise”

Front Porches

I miss them.  They were so inviting and welcoming.  What a great place to hang out and do nothing or everything.  I love the covered porches that have plenty of room for a swing, small table and chairs and lots of plants and flowers.  It’s the perfect room in any house!  I want one, I need one, I gotta have one!!

Rescued Dresser

I hope you are just as amazed by this transformation as I am.  This is my passion!  This is what I love to do, I rescue furniture and have the best time making it pretty again.

Caroline Myss

If you don’t know who she is, she is a teacher and author.  She has had five New York times best sellers and the genre is spirituality and self-improvement  I really like this quote because it is so true.  Often times it is fear alone that paralyzes us from making a decision or taking a step or moving forward.  Fear can get grab a hold of you and never let you leave your comfort zone.  I refuse to let fear control me and see it as a challenge to overcome and conquer.

“Always go with the choice that scares you the most, because that’s the one that is going to require the most of you.”
